The judge for the 2013 Columbus Artists’ Guild’s Members’ Show was Stan Anderson, Professor of Graphic Design and Director of Graduate Studies at Georgia State University’s Department of Art. Our thanks go to Mr. Anderson for his professional and thoughtful consideration.
The Best of Show Award goes to Ken Lever for his Turned Wood piece, "Laced."
We were proud to have many sponsors for the 2013 show, starting with Columbus State University Department of Art, and we are grateful for the immeasurable help of Joe Sanders and Jon Lumpkin.
Our corporate sponsors helped make it all possible with generous gifts, without which the show would lack the quality we all enjoyed. They are:
The W.C. Bradley Company Columbus Bank and Trust
Total System Communicorp
Synovus Family Asset Management Two Sisters Gallery
We wish, also, to thank the following merchants for gifts of items for the Non-Professional Awards: Jack Richeson, Chartpak, Ampersand, Williamsburg Handmade Oil Colors, Walnut Hollow, Blick, and Derwent. We encourage our members to patronize all of our sponsors.
Our grateful thanks go to our Patron Sponsors who have given funds for the Patron Awards, some of whom have supported the Members’ Show for many years. They are:
Kent and Steve Butler Geri and Charles Davis
David Dillard, Gary and Pixie Dillard, Betty C. Dillard
Mr. & Mrs. C. Dexter Jordan, Jr. Gloria Mani
Diane and Art Osborne Claude and Molly Scarbrough
The Waverly Hall Art Group Charles Willis.
